Sensex, Nifty Rangebound - Idea, Airtel Moving Up

Stock market is continuously moving on a flat note with Sensex live at 27862 with 20 points down and Nifty losing 6 points at 8634. Indian currency Rupee is trading higher by 3 paise at 68.01 against US Dollar. About 1178 shares have advanced, 1341 shares have declined and 290 shares are still unchanged. 

Gainers: Idea Cellular, Bharti Airtel, Grasim, Sun Pharma, Dr Reddys Labs
Losers: Bharti Infratel, Aurobindo Pharm, Tata Motors (D), Tata Steel, Tata Motors.

Commodity Update MCX Gold prices to trade higher on Monday, propped up by a weaker dollar and sluggish economic data from the US, while the Lunar New Year holiday in Asia was seen limiting the gains. Gold has hiked 34 points at 28387 and Silver has jumped up 43 points at 41475. Crude Oil is 2 points up at 3610.

Sensex, Nifty maintain morning gains; Ajanta Pharma most active

Benchmark indices retained morning gains with the Nifty holding 8400 level ahead of expiry of January derivative contracts tomorrow and Union Budget that will be presented on February 1. In broader market, maximum sectors are trading in the positive zone with high positive leads. BSE SmallCap is rising high with 69 points lead and BSE MidCap has hiked 50 points at 12695.

Sugar stocks are in focus in first half of Tuesday’s trading session. Ponni Sugars gained 7.82%. Uttam Sugar Mills Limited gained 7.1%. About 1426 shares have advanced over 1007 shares declined and 284 shares are still unchanged.

Gainers: BHEL, Idea Cellular, Tata Power, NTPC, Bosch 

Losers: HUL, Infosys, Bharti Airtel, HCL Tech, ITC

Sensex gains strength, Nifty inches towards 8450; GAIL surges 5%

Benchmark indices gained strength amid volatility in noon trade with the Nifty inching towards 8450 level, supported by oil & gas, PSU banks and telecom stocks. All major sectoral indices were trading in green, with Automobile, Banks, FMCG and Metal stocks pulling the broader markets up. GAIL, Tata Motors (D), Idea Cellular, BPCL and Tata Motors were the top gainers on Nifty. UltraTechCement, Wipro, Axis Bank, Hindalco and Cipla were the top losers. Today, 1400 shares have advanced against the declination of 1113 shares, where 286 shares have remained unchanged.

In Asian Market, Japan's Nikkei has moved up 177 points at 19072, Hang Seng has dropped 76 points at 23021 while China's benchmark index Shanghai Composite has lost 11 points at 3101.

Stock and Commodity Market Update By Money Maker Research

More companies are advancing in the market with 1274 advances & 735 declines while 106 stocks are unchanged on BSE. The 30-share index Sensex is trading at 27312.39 up 24.22 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 8433.65 up 20.85 points. A total of 28 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 6 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.42% at 12726.56, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.57% at 12835.29. Surprisingly all the sectors except the Metal sector are trading in positive zone. Jindal Steel, JSW Steel and Hindalco are seen to pull down the Metal sector in Tuesday’s trading session. Asian Paints, Hindustan Unilever, Bank of Baroda, Zee Entertainment and Axis Bank are among the gainers, whereas Reliance, Cipla, Tata Steel, Adani Ports and ACC are losing sheen on NSE in the morning trading session.

In Commodity Segment, except Gold, Silver and Cotton all the other commodity are down. Gold is 108 points up at 28637 while Silver moved up 253 points at 41213 and Cotton jumped up 180 points at 19960

Stock Market Touching Heights - Market News By Money Maker Advisory

The stock market has opened on a higher note with the Nifty reclaiming 8300. The market will also take cues as investors are looking to President-elect Donald Trump's news conference later in the day for any clues to his policies on tax, fiscal spending, international trade and currencies. The 50-share index Nifty50 is up 42.20 points or 0.5 percent at 8330.80. The BSE Sensex is up 131.59 points or 0.5 percent at 27031.15.

BSE SmallCap has hiked 78 points at 12661 and BSE MidCap is 93 points up at 12541. Tata Steel, Dr Reddy's Labs, HDFC Bank, Infosys and ICICI Bank are top gainers in the Sensex.

The Indian currency rupee opened lower by 5 paise at 68.23 per dollar on Wednesday versus previous close 68.18.

Stock Market Volatile - Update By Money Maker Research

Stock market is volatile amid global cues. However Auto sector and Capital Goods sector are moving higher. Sensex is 17 points up at 26661 while Nifty is 7 points up at 8200. BSE Small Cap has hiked 92 points at 12407 while BSE Mid Cap drifted up 60 points at 12265. If the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) members comply with the supply cut to bring down inventories of crude oil, the price per barrel may rise to around Rs 59-60 by the end of the current quarter. Rupee is trading higher by 14 paise at 68.18 against US Dollar.

Asian Market Updates: Nikkei has gained 458 points at 19572, Hang Seng was down 43 points at 22106 and Shanghai Composite has hiked 20 points at 3156.

Bharti Infratel, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, ONGC and Wipro are gainers in NSE while ACC, Kotak Mahindra, Eicher Motors, Reliance and HUL are losers of NSE.

Indian Stock Market Updates By Money Maker Research

Stock Market started on a negative bias today, however equity benchmarks tried to maintain in the positive zone. Sensex rose up 72 points at 26668 and Nifty hiked 26 points at 8206. Rupee is trading higher by 13 paise at 68.09 against US Dollar. BSE Bankex has gained 151 points yet at 20654.

Commodity Market Update: MCX Gold is 32 points up at 27602 while Silver jumped up 432 points at 39568. Natural Gas dropped down 14 points at 236.
