Tata Stocks Dropped Down As Well The Markets in Red

Tata group stocks were trading in red in morning deals on Tuesday after Tata Sons on Monday sacked Cyrus Mistry as chairman and was replaced by Ratan Tata. Sensex lost over 100 points but trying to overcome the losses. Sensex dropped 69 points at 28110 and Nifty is just 10 points down at 8689. All the sectors are trading in the negative zone. BSE SmallCap has lost 21 points at 13480, BSE Midcap lost 50 points at 13534 and Nifty Midcap dropped 47 points at 15960.

In commodity market, MCX Gold hiked 61 points at 29824 and Silver jumped 179 points at 42237. Crude Oil gained 29 points at 3384.

Asian Market Updates: Nikkei is 122 points up at 17356, Hang Seng lost 29 points at 23574 and Shanghai Composite live at 3126 with no major losses.

Overall 951 shares advanced, 1291 shares declined and 157 shares are still unchanged.

Gainers: Bharti Infratel, Tech Mahindra, Aurobindo Pharma, Zee Entertainment, Sun Pharma

Losers: Tata Steel, Hindalco, Tata Power, BPCL, Idea Cellular

Noon Session Market Updates

Sensex Nifty hovers around their crucial level. Sensex is 104 points down at 28025 and Nifty is 26 points down at 8673. Some sectors are trying to return in the positive zone. BSE Smallcap is 20 points up at 13439, BSE Midcap is 7 points up at 13567 and Nifty Midcap is 24 points up at 16019. 1361 shares have advanced, 1227 shares have declined and 217 shares are still unchanged.

Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, Dr Reddys Labs, Bosch and HUL are gainers on BSE while Cipla, Reliance, Axis Bank, Hindalco and HDFC are loosing sheen on NSE.

Global indices have inched downwards. Nikkei is 50 points down at 17184, Hang Seng is 69 points up at 23374 and Shanghai Composite is just 6 points up at 3091.

Indian stock market opened up with strong gains. Sensex is live at 27769 with 1.87 percent up or 239 points up while Nifty is up 0.81 percent or 69 points at 8589. All the sectors are trading with strong gains in positive zone except the Oil & Gas sector trading down by 22 points at 12084. BSE Auto Sector is 155 points up at 22232, BSE Bankex is 210 points up 22035 and Bank Nifty has hiked 159 points at 19230.

PNB(Punjab National bank) Housing Finance is seeking to raise up to Rs 3,000 crore in the IPO. The ​mortgage company, owned by Punjab National Bank and private equity firm Carlyle Group, is looking to sell between 38.7 million and 40 million new shares in an indicative range of Rs 750-775 per share.

Currently 1716 shares have advanced, 734 shares have declined and 154 shares are still unchanged.  In Commodity market, crude oil remains higher. It has gained 32 points at 3355. MCX Gold is 64 points up at 29769 while Silver is just 319 points up at 42190.

In Asian Market, Nikkei has gained 61 points at 16961, Hang Seng has surged 315 points at 23353 and Shanghai Composite is 32 points up at 3073.

After two consecutive days holiday in stock market, Equity benchmarks opened with high negative leads and declined over 0.91 percent. Sensex has lost 263 points at 27819 while Nifty dropped over 79 points at 8629. Overall 857 shares advanced, 1482 shares declined and 93 shres are still unchanged.

Commodity sector is trading with minor positive leads. Gold has hiked 140 points at 29791 while Silver is 260 points up at 42,311. Crude Oil has dropped 27 points at 3324. Currently, Rupee is trading lower by 0.28 paise or 0.38 percent at 66.79 against US Dollar.
