Stock market opened mixed with equity benchmarks struggling ahead of US Federal meet. Sensex has moved 68 points up at 26583 while Nifty is 10 points up at 8180. In broader market, sectors are volatile. BSE SmallCap is 14 points up at 12244 while BSE Midcap has dropped down 34 points at 12361 and Nifty Midcap lost 35 points at 14724.
Asian Market Update: Nikkei is 59 points up at 19214, Hang Seng is struggling to be in the positive zone trading at 22429 with just 3 points down and Taiwan Index is leading with 32 points at 9382.
Gainers: Tata Motors, BPCL, Idea Cellular, Wipro, Tata Motors (D)
Losers: Hindalco, Zee Entertainment, Grasim, UltraTechCement, Lupin
Indian Equity benchmark began the week on a flat note, with the Nifty ending below 10,000-mark. The Sensex closed up 32 points at 31846, while the Nifty ended higher by 8 points at 9987 whereas midcaps underperformed.
